Artist Justin Lee

Justin Lee works primarily with acrylic paints on canvas. His pop art pieces are statements of everyday life depicted in a humourous, yet honest way. They are definite statements in themselves, and its hard not to be moved by their depiction of past and present Singaporean life. The colours that inspire Justin's works are brash and bold and he characteristically infuses a sense of humour in his works.

Subjects are richly drawn from everyday views of signage, symbols, billboards, movie icons, logos, paper-cuttings and written characters, which he skilfully combines to create visually captivating and outstanding pop art. Justin's works are instantly recognisable and are very well regarded by his peers. He has participated in various Singapore and International Art Exhibitions and his works have been well received. Outside of the studio, Justin has also been commissioned by celebrities and organisations to create pop art panels and other artistic creations for living spaces and events.

Justin is an accomplished Fine Art Painter who has won numerous awards and scholarships. He studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Singapore; the Tyler Print Institute in Singapore; Tyler Graphic Limited in Mt Kisco, New York and the Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts in Singapore.
